GYT Chinese Medicine Research Institute Established
To further explore traditional Chinese medicine, GYT Chinese Medicine Research Institute and Academician Workstation were established on May13th, 2017. It¡¯s a wide platform for innovation of traditional Chinese medicine.
For organized research and development of new TCM drugs, Research Institute and Academician Workstation invited academician Cao Fuliang from Nanjing Forestry University to join. Wan Xiaochun, Director of Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Mayor Du Yanan attended the ceremony.
Academician Cao Fuliang, member of Communist Party of China, professor in silviculture, doctoral tutor, president of Nanjing Forestry University, is honored as ¡°father of Ginkgo¡±. His research interests are Ginkgo's cultivation and exploration, cultivation of economic forest. In 2015 he was coopted as academician in agricultural department,Chinese Academy of Engineering. Establishment of Chinese Medicine Research Institute and Academician Workstation embodies GYT¡¯s strategic concept¡ª¡ªpersonnel, scientific technology and innovation. It will promote development of core technology and become an innovative platform in creating key projects, cultivating talents, applying sci-tech achievements.
